Inauguration of the Emergency Unit within the Bucharest Emergency University Hospital
Today, CSEKE Attila, Minister of Health, took part in the inauguration of the new Emergency Unit within the Bucharest Emergency University Hospital.
“This year, under the investment program, the Ministry of Health will inaugurate the construction and the equipment of a number of 5 Emergency Units, an investment worth over RON 35 million. In April this year, we reopened a completely changed and modernized Emergency Unit in Constanta, at this moment we find ourselves in the largest Emergency Unit in the country within the Bucharest University Hospital, the contract to start works at the Floreasca Emergency Hospital has already been signed, and in fall we could inaugurate the new buildings of the Targu Mures and Satu Mare Emergency Units”, says CSEKE Attila at the inauguration ceremony of the Bucharest University Hospital.
The Minister of Health added that the Emergency Unit within the BucharestUniversityHospitalfully complied with the European standards in terms of circuitry and equipment. “The unit is by no means inferior to any other similar departments within the hospitals of other European capital cities”, said CSEKE Attila.
The Ministry of Health began investing in the construction of this department in 2010. A total of over RON 15.4 million was allocated for the completion of the works.
The funding secured consolidation and post-consolidation works, the realization of a metal structure for extending the Emergency Unit on the suspended platform, as well as the construction-related equipment (air-conditioning system, ventilation, smoke exhaustion system, medicinal fluid networks, video surveillance system, IT infrastructure, oxygen supply and production equipment, electrical network and general board, own generator + UPS, etc ).
